A great course with some great holes. You'll want to play it again and again - always the sign of a good course. There is a good balance of holes, some long, some short, but testing all parts of your game and making you think.

The 3rd
A great Par 3! Go for the green and be rewarded, but go left and it's damp feet!




















The 5th
A thinking golfers par 5 from tee to green. Don't go too long with the drive or you're in the ditch, and don't go behind the tree. Place your second and you are within distance of the well protected, two level, green. And there is a lake to the right to catch any wayward shot.
 

The 6th
Hope you like sand. With bunkers front right, front and side left, and at  the back, accuracy is required on this Par 3.















The 8th
This has to be one of the toughest Par 4's in Essex. Into the prevailing wind and it plays like a Par 5. Watch out for the not so little fairway bunkers on the left and the grass bunker to the right of the green. A monster!
