5. Golf Centre / Course Rules and Regulations

As a visitor, you must adhere to the rules and regulations set by Hobbs Cross Golf Centre as outlined on the website or communicated by the golf course management and/or by members of staff on site. This in turn maintains our high level of standards and experience to all golfers.

5.1: This Includes

(a) No walkers
(b) No spectators
(c) No caddies
(d) No sharing of clubs

(e) Non playing golfers are not permitied on the course
(f) Each golfer will have their own bag / set of clubs, if not these are available to hire from the clubhouse for a small fee

5.2: Rental Clubs – Deposit Requirement

When hiring rental clubs, a deposit is required upon payment. This may be in the form of a bank card or car keys, which will be securely held by staff and returned once the clubs are brought back in full and undamaged.

 

Customers are responsible for the safe and timely return of all rented equipment. Deposits will only be released once staff have confirmed that all items have been returned in good condition and on time.

5.3: Dress Code

The standard golf dress code applies, but training shoes as well as golf shoes may be worn. We would ask that golfers refrain from wearing jeans, jogging bottoms, football or athletic shirts, or vests. 

5.4: Course Marshals

Course Marshals are present to ensure the safe, fair, and enjoyable use of the golf course for all players.

All customers are required to follow any instructions or requests given by Course Marshals while on or entering the course. Failure to comply with Marshal directions may result in removal from the premises without refund.

 

This includes, but is not limited to:

(a) Maintaining pace of play

(b) Adhering to group size rules (e.g., playing in 4-balls when part of a larger group) to ensure smooth course flow

(c) Respecting course boundaries and etiquette

(d) Addressing any safety concerns

(e) Complying with dress code and equipment requirements

 

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain high standards across the course and factilites. 

5.5: Rule Violations

Any violations of the rules may result in the termination of your access to the golf centre / course facilities.

6. Limitation of Liability

Hobbs Cross Golf Centre is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur while visiting and/or using the golf centre/course facilities or the website. Users participate in golf activities at their own risk.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Hobbs Cross Golf Centre reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the website after modifications constitute acceptance of the new terms.
